This New Moon is in the Fire Sign of Aries, which is considered the first in the Zodiac, making it an even more appropriate time for new beginnings and restarting your life goals. Especially now that lockdown is easing up after a long time of sitting still! If there ever was time to charge forwards, this could be it!
But relax, it’s not a race! Try to slow down to decide what you want to do and proceed at your own comfortable pace. You can have it exactly the way you want it, so be sure to use this New Moon’s love in abundance energy to recharge your own goals and ambitions. This first New Moon of the Spring is the perfect tonic to rinse that sour taste of winter from the palate!
The Moon in Astrology
The Sun is in conjunction with The Moon, which gives us a new 28-day cycle, starting afresh with initiative and energy! The New Moon appears during the midpoint of Mars trine Jupiter, a minor grand trine’s focal point. All the positivity, courage, sexiness, and good fortune of this trine is amplified through the New Moon in Aries!
Venus, the Goddess of Love, is also joining the excitement, alongside The Planet of Communication extraordinaire, Mercury, which beautifully shakes and mixes our romantic thoughts into more practical interactions. Say what you feel in love and friendship, but only after you have thought about it first!
The cardinal fire sign of Aries is good support to us at this time to overcome those obstacles and limitations which we sometimes appoint ourselves. Overcoming fear of failing is a trait we could use, and the New Moon favours the brave this Moon phase! Relationships, especially those of an intimate nature, will benefit from your extra warmth and charisma. You may even find you could be more sexually attractive than normal! 😚
How Does the Moon Work?
Did you know the Moon always shows us the same face? There is no single dark side of the moon. It is a celestial sphere that takes 27 days to rotate on its own axis and revolves around our planet once every 27.3 days.
What we see when we look at the moon is reflected sunlight. On average, the moon will rise about 50 minutes later each day, which means it sometimes rises during the day and others during night time hours.
When we experience a New Moon, the satellite is between Earth and the Sun. The part of the moon facing towards us on the ground receives no direct sunlight. The only light source is the dim sunlight reflected from Earth.
When is the Next New Moon?
The next New Moon will appear on the 11th of May 2021 in the evening hours and be in the sign of Taurus. What does the stubborn bull have in store for us? Find out next month!
Until then, lots of love and light from us all! Xx
