The Full Moon in April is on the 13th and it is named “The Pink Moon”. The moon itself will not be seen as pink but the name comes from the pink flowers which grow at this time of year called Phlox flowers. “The Pink Moon, full moon” and flowers emerging announce the arrival of springtime.

The Full moon is in the sign of Libra; the sign associated with balance, beauty and relationships. It is a time to reassess the weight of your emotional baggage, and make space for more fulfilling, authentic relations and environments.. The full moon energy is powerful and will make people question their life choices.

Today I am going to share with you 3 “Full Moon Magic” spells to release the old and allow in the new.

You will need: paper, pen, fire, water, bay leaves, salt and cinnamon powder.

Spell 1

Write a formal letter explaining as if your writing to a friend what (you want to happen regarding change) write it as it has already happened. You can address the letter to the universe or whomever you choose. Pay attention to detail and make sure you sign and date it. When it is finished burn it safely (water on hand for any accidents). The Full Moon magic works 2 days either side the full moon, so you have a few days to complete this spell.

Spell 2

Collect together bay-leaves and on the bay-leaves write on each one what you wish to enchant into your world. When you feel you have clearly requested the new energy you wish for burn the leaves safely (water on hand for any accidents). They can be burnt outside or inside if needed . Remember the Full Moon magic works 2 days either side the Full moon.

Spell 3

This is a simple spell to close of the old and welcome in the new. On the night of the Full Moon energy open both the back and front door. Next go to the back door and with all intention and focus wave and shut the door. Go to the Front door and sprinkle a line of salt across your door way. Stand in the doorway and wave as you would to great someone. Then throw a small amount of cinnamon out of the door.

It’s time you moved forward with no regret. Now is the time to take charge and go back into alignment. This will bring you closer to what you truly deserve.
