The \u201cFull Moon\u201d in September is on the 17th and is named the \u201cThe Harvest Moon\u201d , to some people it is also known as \u201cThe Corn Moon\u201d. Both names are indicating its time to reap the rewards of your hard work and planning, it is also important to prepare for the next growth.<\/p>\n

\"full<\/a>
\nIt is very special this year as it is also a \u201cSuper-Moon\u201d. The term \u201cSuper-Moon\u201d indicates that the \u201cFull Moon\u201d will appear to the viewer to be extra large as it occurs at the same time as the moon’s closest point to Earth in its Orbit, this is known as a perigee. The \u201cSuper-Moon\u201d affects the Earth’s oceans and makes the tidal force much stronger. The affect on the tidal is called perigean spring.<\/p>\n

Some people may find this \u201cFull Moon\u201d a very emotional time, especially if your menstruation is occurring, make sure you take extra time for self care, maybe a pamper or spend time with the special people in your life. It is very important to understand as this a \u201cSuper-Moon\u201d, it will effect emotions and judgement. Ensure you postpone serious and difficult decisions until it passes; ideally 3 days after.<\/p>\n

The Moon affects the tides and in Tarot water is symbolised by the image of cups. To Simplify the Tarot suit of Cups, they represent emotions, deep thought, cleansing and release.<\/p>\n

Full moon magic for the \u201cThe Harvest Moon\u201d by Indigos Oracle<\/h2>\n

You will need a journal or note pad (this is to be a manifestation tool), a candle, something to light the candle, and mixed pens.<\/p>\n

Before we begin any spell work create a sacred space this may include some of the following:
\n– Somewhere private, low lighting, mood lighting, spiritual decoration, altar, crystals, Sage, Palo Santo, essential oils, gentle music, prayer and meditation.
\n– Your sacred place needs to be somewhere that feels magical or that it is ready to create magic.<\/p>\n

To begin our September spell \u2013 Find somewhere safe to light a candle this is indicating to your guides and the universe you are ready to spell cast.
\nFor safety always have either a fire extinguisher or bucket of water available.<\/em><\/p>\n

Our spell is broken down into 4 parts: emotions, contemplation, cleansing and release<\/h3>\n

1) We begin with emotions<\/h3>\n

Sitting in a peaceful, slightly meditative state, ask your guides to impression on you words which represent or describe your current emotions. At this point you need to cover a page with words, leaving space between them. It is essential you understand that you are not needing to know, why they occurred or what they mean. Be as creative as you like, you can use bubble letters, different types of lettering shapes, different sizes, different colours and different text styles.<\/p>\n

2) Next we move onto contemplation<\/h3>\n

It it is now the time to decorate and ponder over the words you were inspired to write. By the text your have written jot down feeling, experiences or paragraph’s for each word. The word may evoke a memory, a story, a song or saying. Fill the paper in anyway you choose. (This is for you to enjoy and not to be seen by others unless you want to share.)<\/p>\n

3) We now move onto the cleansing aspect of the spell<\/h3>\n

The clearing of the old and ready for the new. Within the emotions you have listed find any aspects you want to release, forgive or forget. Each one of us writes our own story, and directs our own life show. This aspect is as such, cutting the wheat from the sheaf. It is time to focus on that that brings optimism, personal growth and joy.<\/p>\n

In your own way find the parts of the words or drawings you wish to release, forgive or forget. Ring them with red pen or pencil, add more words to indicate the release, decorate the words to indicate the release, for example hearts around a difficult emotion or memory, Cross out or block out areas of the text you wish to let go off or decorate over the words; much like a tattoo cover up to hide the now irrelevant past experiences. Take your time and enjoy the creative process. (This is for you to enjoy and not to be seen by others unless you want to share.)<\/p>\n

4) Next is the release aspect of our spell<\/h3>\n

If possible cast the spell under the \u201cFull Moon\u201d outside, its not essential but you will feel more connected and the event will feel more magical that way.<\/p>\n

Recite:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

”Under \u201cThe Harvest Moon\u201d glow<\/em>
\nI am ready and willing to let go<\/em>
\nOf that which no longer nurtures me<\/em>
\nI am ready for my new growth, so mote it be”<\/em><\/p>\n
