Mercury Retrograde For December<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Ah, Mercury retrograde! For what it\u2019s worth, if this time frame really worries you: this is our last one of the year. Mercury stations retrograde on December 3rd in Sagittarius and it goes direct on the 22nd, in Sagittarius as well.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A More Positive Approach To Mercury Retrograde\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Of course, we know the warnings about the communication and technological bumps in the road. But, let\u2019s think for a moment about who Mercury is, exactly. Messenger of the Gods. We may find that truths we have not faced, yet needed to come to the front. We may find ourselves challenged by mindsets or situations that we have needed to let go. Understanding where we\u2019re blocked can help us to not repeat patterns that have become problematic: but, not if we aren\u2019t paying attention to them. That, right there, is the crux of just about every Mercury Retrograde cycle. You must understand- Mercury also rules the mind. There are very few tools at our disposal as powerful as our own minds, and it\u2019s with that in mind we seek solutions- rather than use yet another Mercury retrograde cycle as an excuse for a plethora of things.<\/p>\n

The Good News…?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, the good news first- this is the last Mercury retrograde cycle of the year. As I mentioned, it\u2019s going through Sagittarius- which can really make for some interesting communication concerns. Think about those Sagittarians you know: not the most tactful sort, are they? Now, imagine Sagittarius bluntness meets Mercury retrograde fueled misunderstandings. This is why being mindful of what you say and clarifying during a Mercury retrograde cycle, though usually important: is key during this one. Well, that and Neptune, plus this Gemini Full Moon, which I will also go into.
\nYou may find for the next three weeks or so, there are a few delays in travel, so be sure you\u2019re giving yourself time and confirm your bookings. Organize and backup your data, make sure that your books are in order. These are all smart things to do during these cycles. It\u2019s really not a good time to try starting new things: but, if you must, simply go over all the details with a fine toothed comb.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Another thing- exes and ghosts from the past are known to return, either in mind or reality during these cycles. Though that may look like something you can revisit, as it\u2019s not new: it\u2019s usually not a good idea and in this cycle, in particular- you\u2019re probably better served thinking about why they\u2019re in your past in the first place.<\/p>\n

Mercury Retrograde AND The Gemini Full Moon<\/strong><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

This particular full moon is just rife with Neptune influences- which means, deception, escapism and fantasy are at an all time high. This is why I say be very careful- one of the biggest things that Neptune\u2019s known for is not quite someone else lying to us: though that can happen. No, putting it all together with all the other influences at play and it\u2019s those lies we tell ourselves which can be problematic. Center yourself, balance your heart and mind. Take your time with decisions and really, clarify any little details you\u2019re not sure about.<\/p>\n

Closure is a Big Deal Now<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Typically, the advice is to neither start nor end things during these cycles- but, in this case, this collection of influences may bring you the truth and the closure you need. I know that it has been such a rough year for so many. Now is a good time to take a step back, recharge, revisit some things, and more than that- renew yourself.<\/p>\n

With the energies at play- you can revisit those things in your past, review them a bit and finally, begin to take steps to let some of the heartaches go. Allow yourself some time to fully feel what you do, be patient with yourself and understand yourself a bit better. Let go of limiting mindsets, self punishment, and other things which have been hindering you so you can start fresh in the year ahead.<\/p>\n

Though we may find ourselves slowed down or challenged, though we may run into some inconveniences: the entire point is in taking a look. Looking at the ways we can improve, the things we can let go of, and the way that we can work through some things. Of course, it may not be until January that we fully understand all the things we\u2019re mulling over- but, it\u2019s worth the time and patience to adopt different perspectives.<\/p>\n
