Crystals and Colour\u00a0– By Andie Hudson<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The power of crystals and colour used to be widely understood in Ancient Egypt<\/strong><\/a> and by the Native<\/strong> Americans<\/strong><\/a>. However, as you may be aware its importance is being rediscovered today.<\/p>\n

Using crystals<\/strong> in any module of emotional healing these days also involves the vibrational elements<\/strong> of the colours of specific crystals. <\/span>Let’s look at a few basic crystals and the colour frequencies they display.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

RED<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Because it has the slowest rate of vibration the densest or opaque colour is red. \u00a0It is a strong physical colour and can stimulate energy and vitality. It is a hot colour and generates heat and warmth. Red is a colour of empowerment, action, and expansion to reach out and initiate something new.<\/span><\/p>\n

I use <\/span>ruby<\/strong>, garnet<\/strong>, red quartz<\/strong> and carnelian<\/strong> when I need the above elements to guide and help people move forward, either from a physical injury or an emotional impasse. We need to accept and release what is no longer necessary for our individual growth. The red colour kick starts the person to move forward using these energies.<\/span><\/p>\n

ORANGE <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Orange is a wonderful colour for balancing the emotional body as well as the digestive system. <\/span>It promotes the assimilation of events in one’s life on an energetic level and then also the assimilation and digestion of food intake in the physical.<\/span><\/p>\n

This colour literally helps us to digest life. It integrates what we need to accept and releases what is no longer necessary for our individual growth. <\/span>Whether this is a job a person an attitude or a bad habit.<\/span><\/p>\n

These are the orange stones I use when I want to use the energy vibrations of orange: <\/span>Amber<\/strong>, Topaz<\/strong>, Carnelian<\/strong>, orange Calcite<\/strong> and orange Jasper<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

YELLOW<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Yellow like Orange is a warm colour and is associated with the mental body. \u2013 The intellectual rational side of the mind. It is the colour of taking in and giving out, sharing expressing and communicating. It is the life giving power of the sun. <\/span><\/p>\n

Yellow can help us with the power of discernment and discrimination the opposite of judgement. It is a joyful colour and good for emotional healing the inner child in us all. It frees us up to play, enjoy and have fun.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yellow stones I use in my divination sessions or counselling are: C<\/strong><\/span>itrine<\/strong>, Topaz<\/strong>, Yellow Zircon<\/strong> and yellow milky Amber<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

GREEN<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Green is what I describe as a midpoint colour between the hot colours \u2013 the earthier colours of red orange and yellow and the cool colours of blue indigo and violet. This colour is neither hot nor cold and therefore a very powerful colour. Why do you think we get such calm and peace when walking in nature? <\/span><\/p>\n

Green soothes balances and calms and because it is associated with the heart chakra it helps us to develop unconditional love. This means loving and accepting others as they are – and not as we would like them to be. Green can alleviate over possessiveness and the fear of loving. <\/span><\/p>\n

Green stones I use most often in my work are: <\/span>Emerald<\/strong>, Green Tourmaline<\/strong>, Jade<\/strong>, Moss Agate<\/strong>, Peridot<\/strong> and Aventurine<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

BLUE<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Blue a cool colour is associated with wisdom truth and integrity, so different aspects of the mind from Yellow. Wisdom being an important part of our human existence is a blend of love and will, helping us to be willing rather than wilful. Blue inspires mental control, clarity, creativity and the acceptance of responsibility for others. It can eliminate confusion so we can see clearly. Historically it is associated with the Sky with the Universe and God.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Blue Stones I use in my work are: <\/span>Sapphire<\/strong>, Aquamarine<\/strong>, Turquoise<\/strong>, Lapis Lazuli<\/strong> and Blue Lace Agate<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
