Playing Cards as Tarot Cards – with Hands of an Angel<\/b><\/h1>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>Tarot<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0cards have a deck of 78 in their deck<\/strong>, as opposed to the playing cards of 52<\/strong> (+2 jokers not included in the 52). They have the same roots which originate from China<\/strong><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Chinese<\/strong> invented the playing cards and documented them in Europe<\/strong> approximately around the ninth century. The actual Tarot cards appeared in Europe approximately in the 1400s<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

At first, the playing cards<\/span><\/strong> with just for games and playing cards are what we use today as well as games, like canasta<\/strong>, poker<\/strong>, snap<\/strong>, etc. As well as Tarot if some people use the playing cards.<\/p>\n

By the time the two decks<\/strong> came about together in the world, they then became different with pathways according to their use like divination<\/strong>\u00a0or fruition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

These cards commenced now to the 16th century<\/strong> and grew up to today\u2019s usage. Today the Tarot cards are for psychic readings but the playing cards are for games and sometimes use via Psychic<\/strong><\/a> with their abilities to read the playing cards.<\/span><\/p>\n

Major and Minor Cards<\/b><\/h2>\n

The <\/span>Major Arcana<\/strong><\/span><\/a> has 22 cards. The <\/span>Minor Arcana<\/a><\/strong> has 56 cards<\/strong> and the 56 cards are divided into four sets<\/strong>, wands<\/strong>, pentacles<\/strong>, cups<\/strong> and swords<\/strong> and 14 cards<\/strong> in one suit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Playing Cards<\/b><\/h2>\n

The playing card deck<\/strong> is mostly the same as the tarot cards<\/strong> and there are four suits.<\/span><\/p>\n

(1) 1 to 10 <\/span>Diamonds<\/b><\/span> equals Tarot Pentacles.<\/span><\/p>\n

(2) 1 to 10 <\/span>Clubs<\/b> equals Tarot Wands.<\/span><\/p>\n

(3) 1 to 10 <\/span>Hearts<\/b><\/span> equals Tarot Cups.<\/span><\/p>\n

(4) 1 to 10 <\/span>Spades<\/b> equals Tarot Swords.<\/span><\/p>\n

The page in tarot cards represents new beginnings and youthful energy, usually with the Knight. There is no page in the playing cards only.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jack –<\/b> Who falls in love easily like the page.<\/span><\/p>\n

Queen –<\/b>\u00a0 Who is an emotional empathic lady.<\/span><\/p>\n

King –<\/b> Who is a tolerant man.<\/span><\/p>\n

Playing Card as Tarot Card – An Example<\/b><\/h2>\n

So think of a Queen as a Mother<\/strong>, a King as Father<\/strong> and a Jack as the child<\/strong> which can be pronounced as the Page.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Ace<\/strong> in cards is beginnings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two<\/strong> in the cards is balance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Three<\/strong> in the cards mixed up the division.<\/span><\/p>\n

Four<\/strong> in the cards is stability.<\/span><\/p>\n

Five<\/strong> in the cards is a disturbance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Six<\/strong> in the cards is harmony.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seven<\/strong> in the cards is mystery.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eight<\/strong> in the cards is movement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nine<\/strong> in the cards is growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ten<\/strong>\u00a0in the cards is completion.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Tarot<\/strong>, on the other hand, can go deeper into the 1 to 10<\/strong> with more pictures<\/strong>, titles<\/strong> and inspiration<\/strong> of pictures to give you that reading. Whereas the 1 to 10 in the playing cards pack, you only get either the hearts<\/strong>, the clubs<\/strong>, the spades<\/strong> etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joker in the pack!<\/p><\/div>\n

The Joker<\/b><\/h2>\n

Then this just leaves the <\/span>Joker<\/a><\/strong>, it\u2019s entirely up to you whether you include the Jokers or not. The joker is the playing card representing the tarot the Fool.<\/span><\/p>\n

Keeping it simply the Fool<\/strong> is numberless, who is the unknown person that journeys through the tarot, undergoing transformation<\/strong>, self-understanding<\/strong> and generally educated oneself<\/strong> via those experiences. Personally, for a quick-playing card reading, I would leave the Jokers out.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, should you choose to include, either one or both Jokers<\/strong>, then the meaning assigned to them are taking a risk in a positive way<\/strong> or doing something foolish negative, innocent or unknowing. Which of these interpretations you select depends on the question asked.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Summary<\/b><\/h2>\n

Nowadays Tarot<\/strong> cards are always going to be used for guidance<\/strong> and inspiration<\/strong> to the sitter. Whereas, if you want to, you can also have the playing cards for guidance or can be used for simple general family games!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
