Valentines Day; the 21st century way – laptop love and dining @ a distance<\/h1>\n

Numerology<\/h2>\n

February 2017 (2 + 2017) – we are in a month number 3 in a 1 year. This says to me \u00a0that we are setting the scene for self expression. We will be back in a 3 month in November and be able to review then how well we did this. Anyway, back to now.<\/p>\n

A befitting quote for this month – “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those that matter don’t mind and those that mind don’t matter”<\/em> ~ Dr. Seuss<\/p>\n

Valentines day this year will be an 8 day ( 14 + 2 + 2017). It may well be quite a busy day for business and work ideas for many. The 14 adds up to 5 bringing an environmental opportunity for change, travel, adventure, variety, new ways of doing this. Ideal for surprising your valentine, or coming up with innovative ways to be romantic.<\/p>\n

Mix it up!<\/h3>\n

For those of you who remember, creating a mix tape was a nice gift to give someone. How about creating a youtube playlist of your favourite tracks and sharing with your valentine? Or even inviting them and allowing them to collaborate with you so you can make music together in the 21st century way!<\/p>\n

Valentines day can be a wonderful opportunity to get to know another in a lighthearted and fun, innoncent way. It’s also a great chance to reconnect in the most natural and easiest of ways without too many expectations. It’s about having a bit of playful fun, opening your heart and enjoying the moment. When we do this, more insights are naturally revealed.<\/p>\n

Going back to the numerology, the 2 (February) is all about partnerships. The 5 (1+4) and the 2 add up to 7 – going beneath the surface a little bit; finding out a little bit more about each other. As it’s a 3 month, just by being ourselves we’ll naturally learn about one and other.<\/p>\n

The preceding new moon was also in Aquarius (28th Jan) and the full moon will be on the 11th February in Leo – again air and fire. This full moon is a full lunar eclipse, so we may find some of the more dramatic scenarios (Leo) will be eclipsed out of our lives. Also as eclipses carry energy for around six months, we may find a link with what happens around this Valentines week to August time – six months down the road.<\/p>\n

With lots of Aquarius (Uranus) and Aries (Mars) energy this suggests to me new and different ways of communicating. The energy feels sparky, fiery, new modality, fast paced, intellectual with new communication, conversations and forms of self expresssion.<\/p>\n

Chakras<\/h2>\n

Linking in with the 3 month, the nearby lunar eclipse in Leo and the planetary fire energy on Valentines day, I would say the chakra to focus on would be the solar plexus chakra. This is our power centre, it’s how we express ourselves through our being. It can be a wonderful sunshine, uplifting, positive energy. When we are in alignment, our inner furnace is burning bright and we radiate out this energy with a beautiful glow that draws others to us. The thing to watch out for is power struggles – the “my way is the only way”, “right vs wrong” expression. There is a beauty and resonance to all, everything has it’s fit and it’s about finding our fit or how we fit with another.<\/p>\n

Also, if you have a new date for Valentines, go with that gut feeling – your body is a messenger. As well as getting to know another person, you’re getting to know you a little bit more each time you interact with another.<\/p>\n

For those of you who are in a partnership (or not) but cannot be physically together, why not arrange to sit with each other for the evening via your preferred mode of technology. You could even arrange to buy the same meal individually, but enjoy it “together apart” – it’s all about spending that quality time together, just the two of you. Ok, it’s not ideal, but it’s as close to close as you can get, it keeps the connection going and the communication flowing.
\nPartnerships and relationships require ongoing connectivity and communication. For the enlightened – true acceptance of one and other.<\/p>\n

I hope that’s given you some inspiration and sparked some of your own creative ways to enjoy Valentines day.<\/p>\n

And for those of you stressing – remember, it’s one day – 24 hours – that’s all.
\nYou’re still going to be you the day before and the day after, so why not just be you – on Valentines day too!
