Today I am looking at <\/span>Ancient Egyptian Mysticism<\/strong> and the hidden symbolism<\/strong> of the ancient temples<\/strong>. This form of mysticism is also directly correlated with the human body\u2019s glands and chakras<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n In other words, we find things that go together, i.e. glands in the physical body, correlate to the seven main chakras<\/strong><\/a>, things that go together or relate to each other somehow. <\/span><\/p>\n Interestingly, <\/span>Spell rituals<\/strong> and incantations<\/a><\/strong> were also used. These were sometimes used on people, but their main focus was on controlling the Gods.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As I mentioned above, here is a recap of the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>seven main chakras<\/b> located outside the physical body. All within the Aura<\/strong><\/a>, which start from the root upwards to the crown chakra as follows:-<\/span><\/p>\n The Seven Main Chakras<\/p><\/div>\n The<\/span> chakras<\/b><\/a> turn around constantly and vibrate. Therefore, the Aura can change on an hourly or daily basis.\u00a0 This depends on what is going on within a person\u2019s mind, body and spirit. <\/span><\/p>\n Therefore, as a <\/span>Colour Therapist<\/b><\/a>, I can work with the chakra imbalances to <\/span>balance the mind, body and soul<\/b>, diagnosing the correct colours<\/strong><\/a> needed to assist in the healing process.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The past of Ancient Egyptians<\/p><\/div>\n We also know that the ancient Egyptians were masters of kundalini<\/strong><\/a> meditation<\/strong> too. Additionally, we know that the Ancient Egyptians<\/strong> had a much deeper vision and understanding of eternal life<\/strong>\u00a0after this life<\/strong> and of the divine<\/strong><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n When a person moved on from a physical body from this world, it was really not the end for the Ancient Egyptians. We can see evidence today of their wisdom in the form of temples, paintings, and special symbols.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n I have been to Egypt<\/strong><\/a> many times, absorbing the breathtaking sights<\/strong> and energies<\/strong>. There is something about Egypt which I find energetically amazing! <\/span><\/p>\n First, there is the river Nile<\/strong><\/a>, which runs south to north, through Africa, one of the world’s largest rivers. <\/span>Previously, I went on Nile cruises from upper to lower Egypt. I visited various temples. <\/span><\/p>\n Once inside the temples,<\/strong> I found beautiful colours<\/strong> such as blue<\/span><\/strong>, black<\/span><\/strong>, red<\/strong><\/span>, green<\/strong><\/span>, gold<\/strong><\/span> and pink<\/strong><\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 I highly recommend a visit!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Egyptian Temple<\/p><\/div>\n I shall now explain below some various forms of Ancient Mysticism<\/strong>;<\/span><\/p>\n We know that The Egyptians used various tools in these practises. Amulets<\/a>,<\/strong> i.e., magical stones, spells, magical ceremonies, lucky<\/strong> and unlucky days<\/strong> and many more, like horoscopes, worship of animals, the magic of sounds and so on.<\/span><\/p>\n The \u2018utchat<\/strong><\/a>\u2019, one popular amulet<\/strong> used, which I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll know better as the \u2018Eye of Horus<\/strong><\/a>\u2019. By wearing this, the Ancient Egyptians intended to bring well-being, blessings, strength, safety<\/strong> and protection,<\/strong> and so much more to the living and the dead, as amulets were known to have been placed on both the living and the dead.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Spells and Magic<\/p><\/div>\n Egyptian magic<\/strong> was original of two kinds.\u00a0 First<\/strong> and foremost, the Egyptians used magic for legitimate purposes, with the idea of being of benefit to others, both the living and the dead. <\/span><\/p>\n The second<\/strong> kind was made up against wicked plots and schemes, intended to help those who had been affected, to bring calm back to them… In other words, they used magic to ward off any darkness that may have been sent towards someone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Ancient Egyptians often wrote Protective<\/strong> and wellbeing<\/strong> spells. They often wrote these on papyrus, which was sometimes folded and worn on the body. Spells usually were made up of two parts, i.e. (i<\/strong>) words to be spoken<\/strong> and (ii<\/strong>) actions to be taken<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n The Ancient Egyptians designated special men who knew how to speak the words correctly, especially the secret names of deities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Calendar ceiling – By Oksana Galiulina<\/p><\/div>\n There are papyri<\/strong><\/a> containing copies of the Egyptian Calendar<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 According to these, the Egyptians marked each third of every day for three hundred and sixty days of the year as being lucky or unlucky. <\/span><\/p>\n They used Symbols for each day.\u00a0 They marked the rest of the days as being only partly lucky or unlucky.<\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0 Ancient Egyptians<\/strong> were very skilled at predicting births. In turn, if they knew the exact time, place and date of a person\u2019s birth, they could predict their horoscope,<\/strong>\u00a0using a \u2018tablet<\/strong>\u2019 made of gold, silver and acacia wood to which three belts were attached.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n Upon the outer belt \u2018Zeus<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 (a god) was surrounded by \u2018decani,<\/strong>\u2019 i.e. 36 groups of stars (a small constellation) used in ancient Egyptian astronomy. The second belt was surrounded by the twelve signs<\/strong> of the Zodiac<\/strong><\/a>, and the third belt was surrounded by the sun<\/a><\/strong> and the moon<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n They then placed eight Precious stones within the middle belt, and time of birth, details of etc. would then be predictable using this method. They believed that the birds<\/strong>, animals,<\/strong> and reptiles<\/strong> possessed specific characteristics of the gods they made sacred. i.e. <\/span><\/p>\n (i) The Bull<\/strong><\/a>.
