Empaths – Who Are They?<\/h1>\n

Empaths<\/strong> are highly sensitive people<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0who tend to absorb others’ emotions. This can make it exhausting and overwhelming being in a crowd situation. <\/span><\/p>\n

They are more easily affected by surrounding energies<\/strong> and emotions<\/strong> than others, whether this is good or bad. <\/span><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t even have to be someone they know – they can be standing next to a stranger on the train and feel their emotions as if they were their own.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Showing Empathy<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Everyone can show empathy. <\/strong>This\u00a0is the ability to understand the hurt<\/strong> or pain<\/strong> that people are going through without having actually to experience these feelings yourself. However, if you\u2019re an empath, other\u2019s emotions and pain become your own. <\/span><\/p>\n

They are naturally intuitive<\/strong>, sense how people are feeling<\/strong> without being told or sense what they want<\/strong> and need<\/strong>. Practice Self-Compassion<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Learn to prioritise<\/strong> your own feelings<\/strong>. Empaths often spend so much time worrying about others and forget to notice their own suffering.<\/span><\/p>\n
