The Differences between Psychics & Witches<\/b><\/h1>\n

Today we are looking at the differences between psychics<\/a> <\/strong>and witches<\/strong><\/a>. The distinctive crafts have similarities but also aspects that make them unique<\/strong> from one another. <\/span><\/p>\n

For example, you do not need to be a witch to be a psychic. Furthermore, not all witchcraft traditions are used by psychics, such as spellwork. <\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, as part of their craft<\/strong> and traditions<\/strong>, witches follow the cycles of the moon<\/strong><\/a> and various other festivals throughout the year. But, this is not essential to the psychic practice. <\/span><\/p>\n

Another difference is that children can be born with psychic powers<\/a><\/strong>. Although witches can be born into their craft through family, this is different to being born intuitive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Historically, psychics had positions of great authority<\/strong>. For example, they were often found in royal courts as advisors to the King<\/strong> and Queen. However, when\u00a0witches started being persecuted, such as the witchcraft trials in Salem<\/strong><\/a>, this affected psychics’ perception. <\/span><\/p>\n

Witchcraft<\/strong> became a capital offence<\/strong><\/a> all over the UK<\/strong>, with practice or cooperation with a witch being punishable by death. Due to some of the practices being associated with one another, many psychics were persecuted under this law also.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
