But worry not<\/strong>! This card<\/strong><\/a> is not meant to be taken literally, as are most cards in the Tarot<\/strong><\/a> Deck. In this blog, I will explain why it is not as bad<\/strong> as expected! Please read on below.<\/p>\n This card interpretation is often encouraged<\/strong> and enhanced<\/strong> in movies for maximum impact. This impact can be seen in a selection of movies, such as:<\/span><\/p>\n So it is no surprise that the literal meaning<\/strong> is often applied. However, the Death card in the tarot is not necessarily<\/strong> related to physical death, but more than often, it is a symbolic death. <\/span><\/p>\n Meaning that a fundamental part of our life is about to undergo a significant change<\/strong>. This change can be sudden, transitional or even unexpected. <\/span><\/p>\n The Death Card wakes us up to an opportunity<\/strong> to release and replace our out-of-date approach to life with a new and better version. This card also tends to appear when we are on the verge<\/strong> of some endings.<\/span><\/p>\n Let’s not forget that some endings are welcomed<\/strong>, although the hard work to follow is less. <\/span>Examples<\/strong> of things that may need to change for our growth:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Intellectually and personally, the Death Card signifies a natural end<\/strong> to existence, which has run its course. Releasing through the process of acceptance is the quickest way to let go, which is achievable. <\/span><\/p>\n A change of mindset by upgrading our belief system<\/strong> is required and can be challenging to master but worthwhile striving for. If we do not release<\/strong> our old life, we sabotage our progression into the new.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On a macro level, this card can mark the end<\/strong> of a particular thought process. So, we can see that this card impacts the infrastructure of our lives, which is why it is a major arcana<\/strong><\/a> card.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n All types of relationships<\/strong><\/a> we invest in are considered here, including work and our physical self. <\/span>When this card appears, it tells us something needs to change<\/strong> significantly.<\/span><\/p>\n If we do not do it ourselves, the universe<\/strong> will step in, e.g. a redundancy, a house move, a child leaving home or a lifestyle change, for example. <\/span><\/p>\n Telltale signs that the energy<\/strong> is stagnating will be the feeling<\/strong><\/a> of de-motivation. We feel out of sorts or stuck or frustrated, or even angry. <\/span><\/p>\n Although we may not be happy, the thought of life upheaval feels too overwhelming or fearful that we tend to stay where it is familiar or want, for a better word, our \u201ccomfort zone\u201d<\/em><\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n However, by staying here, we decay and drain ourselves and become more insecure and lonely. Our safety net is not guaranteed<\/strong>. The only change is!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Incidentally, change promotes growth and motivation and enables us to feel \u201calive\u201d<\/em><\/strong> as we embrace our new adventure. Change requires us to explore ourselves by healing past wounds that impact our self-esteem.<\/span><\/p>\n It requires hard work to commence<\/strong> and sustain<\/strong> the transformation journey, allowing us to truly leave the past behind and take the wisdom learnt into the new. <\/span><\/p>\n It is easier said than done, which is why baby steps<\/strong> are the way forward. Like a diet, we may stumble, but we pick ourselves up and keep moving. It is normal to stumble.<\/span><\/p>\n Some emotions will be traumatic and painful to travel through, but if we are not proactive<\/strong> and the universe has to step in, others may need support<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n If we are half in and half out, we will feel in limbo, and we will be limiting our future. This can lead to regrets, so we must embrace<\/strong> the process to open our hearts to a fulfilled life<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n As we travel along our journey, we must navigate the speed bumps with peace<\/strong> and determination<\/strong>. The end may come sooner by becoming mellow, sweeter, and more nourishing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Whatever the change is, one thing is for certain, change is a certainty and requires courage, which in turn gives us inner strength and confidence as well as independence<\/strong> and freedom<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Once we know that we have deep trauma and are trying to navigate<\/strong> the trauma, the loss, sorrow, heartbreak or grief. The transition can be challenging from old to new, and this is where a leap of faith is needed. <\/span><\/p>\n But remember, by walking this challenging path, the path will lead to a higher path<\/strong>. Here, we will become stronger, resourceful and happier and be able to see the purpose of the journey. <\/span><\/p>\n Take the wisdom<\/strong> from experience and leave the rest with peace. Meditation<\/strong><\/a>, prayers, nutritious food, movement, nature and connections, to name a few, are truly valuable tools to use in finding serenity on this journey.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Importantly, the Death card will apply to everyone<\/strong> at some stage in their life. However, it is more about how we respond<\/strong> to the challenge; therefore, investing in growth is worthwhile.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Interestingly, when the Death Card appears in a spread, other major arcana cards, too, such as The<\/strong> Devil<\/strong><\/a> or the Falling Tower<\/strong><\/a>. This simply emphasises the importance<\/strong> of change and that it is inevitable and necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n Exploration of self is essential. In the recent movie House of Gucci<\/strong><\/a>, the Devil Card appears but not the Death card.
