Locking Down and Loading Up – How To Remember the Days of the Week.
Here is a guide to using fruit to remember what day of the week it is! Locking Down and Loading up as I like to call it! So here’s my lockdown, load up, weekly diary. I am connecting each day with planets, chakras and colours. I hope you are all staying safe and well!

What Day Is It?
MONDAY
Ruled by: The Moon.
Keyword: Intuition.
Chakra Number: 6.
Chakra Name: Third Eye.
Colour – Indigo.
Fruit: So, I went for blueberries.
TUESDAY
Ruled by: Mars.
Keyword: Action.
Chakra Number: 1.
Chakra Name: Base or Root.
Colour – Red.
Fruit: I chose strawberries.
Berries make a nice base for a crumble!
Here’s a quick recipe using oats instead of flour for the crumble mix.
Cut up the berries and place in an ovenproof dish, into the oven at gas mark 4.
While that’s heating up, the crumble mixture can be made.
250g of oats
150g softened butter
125g of Brown sugar
Mix it all up into a crumble mixture.
Take out the fruit dish and top with the crumble mixture.
Put back into the oven for 20 minutes.
Take out, let it cool and enjoy!

Fruit: This one got me stumped so I opted for a free choice day, go with the flow.

Colour – Orange.
Fruit: No surprise, I picked oranges. Made a nice freshly squeezed orange juice – refreshing, sweet, delicious, nutritious.
FRIDAY
Ruled by: Venus.
Keyword: Love.
Chakra Number: 4.
Chakra Name: Heart.
Colour – Green.
Fruit: I went for green grapes, ready to eat as they are, remembering to wash them first.
SATURDAY
Ruled: by Saturn.
Keyword: Consequence.
Chakra Number: 0.
Chakra Name: Earth Star.
Colour – Black.
Fruit: Black grapes, ripe and ready, after all the Saturnian hard work of the day.
SUNDAY
Ruled by: The Sun.
Keyword: Empowerment.
Chakra Number: 3.
Chakra Name: Solar Plexus.
Colour – Yellow.
Fruit: The wonderful lemon. Freshly squeezed and added to hot water and honey for a soothing tonic.
