The New Moon in Aquarius will take place on January 29th at 12.35pm.

Contrary to popular belief, many assume Aquarius, the water-bearer, is a water sign: however it is a fixed air sign and is symbolised by waves of water or electricity. Aquarius is an active sign, making this New Moon feel more energetic and intensely purposeful. Uranus is this signs planetary ruler, which embraces freedom and is also seen as the planet of awakenings.
At the time of this New Moon, we also have a trine of Jupiter, the planet of expansion and the sign of Gemini. This is beneficial for not only will this allow these two planets to harmonise and inspire one another, but both Aquarius and Gemini are air signs, so you can expect some intellectually stimulating conversations with others.

As with all New Moons, we can use this time to put new ideas, goals and inspirations to good use. Aquarius people tend to be quirky, eccentric and independent thinkers.
