The full moon in May is on the 12th and is named ” The Flower Moon”.

The name “Flower Moon” was given by Native American tribes, particularly the Algonquin people, who observed the abundant blooming of flowers in May.
The “Flower Moon” is sometimes also called the “Budding Moon,” “Leaf Budding Moon,” or “Planting Moon,”.

This  “Flower Moon” will be a micromoon, meaning it will be further away from Earth than usual. This occurs because the moon orbits Earth in an elliptical path, and the Flower Moon will be at apogee, the point where it’s furthest from Earth.

Astrologically the “Flower Moon” is  associated with heightened emotions, clarity, and confirmation. It can also bring  about a sense of tension and excitement, enhancing personal and collective growth.

Draw some roots at the bottom … along the roots list what experiences have shaped your world, they may feel a positive or negative influence.

Then draw a stem leading from the roots. In this stem consider what you have learnt from the roots how it has shaped you and your awareness of your world.  Write within the stalk your findings.

Next we have the leaves, draw as many leaves as you wish and fill them with people who have influenced your life. Consider this a statement of gratitude.

We are now at the top where the Flower is to bloom.

In the centre draw a circle and fill it with your personal objective. You may want to write something about a relationship, study, career or house move (these are only examples).

Around the circle create the petals  now is time to listen to your higher self, inner voice or guides. In each petal write something that will get you closer to your personal objective or goal.

Sign and date the drawing and fold it into a small size.
