Today’s New Moon occurs in the zodiac of Leo, a Fixed Fire sign. Fixed signs are ‘Doers’, Fire signs are ‘Action Oriented’, and Leo is ‘Esteemed’. Leo the Lion (Kings & Queens) is ruled by the Sun, the active yang masculine energy. The Sun’s counterpart, the Moon, is a passive yin feminine energy.

This New Moon in Leo is not about going solo, it’s about co-creating with Spirit, with others who share your vision, and for harmonising opposing energies. A perfect representation of these energies would be the ancient Chinese Yin Yang symbol, which depicts equilibrium – the equal opposites of Light and Dark, Positive and Negative, and of course Male and Female.
