Full Moon in Pisces – 7th September 2025
The September “Full-Moon” is on the 7th September it is known as the “Corn Moon” or “Harvest Moon”. It is the last “Full Moon” of the Summer as the Summer concludes 21st September.
This is a time to review the year so far as we slowly move to Autumn and the 3/4 of the year has already happened. Its a time to celebrate a time to reap what you have sown and share your blessings with others .
(Full moon magic is the most powerful 2 days before and 2 days after.)
The “Harvest Moon” represents hope for the future and abundance of what you already have. It is a reminder of the interconnectedness between humans and nature, highlighting the cyclical nature of life and the importance of honouring the food nature brings us. The history of the this moon also intertwines with cultural practices and folklore:
In China, the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is celebrated during this Moon. Families come together to give thanks for the harvest, share mooncakes, and admire the moon’s beauty. Similarly, Native American tribes have their own traditions associated with the Harvest Moon. The Ojibwe people call it “Manoominike-Giizis,” the Rice-making Moon, as it signals the time to harvest wild rice

Next
Place the mixing bowl on the side in the kitchen. Then place into it one and a half cups of the plain flour, the yeast, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir the mixture 3 times to represent the Past, Present and Future.
Next take a saucepan, heat on a low heat & gently stir in the milk, brown sugar, margarine or butter, and salt just until warm and margarine is almost melted. Carefully fold the melted mixture into the flour mixture and gently add the pumpkin (canned or previous steamed fresh pumpkin)
Mix with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping the sides of the bowl constantly. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes. Using a clean wooden spoon, stir in nuts (leave out if allergic), chocolate chips and as much of the remaining flour as you can while still keeping a pliable dough. (add the flour slowly until the dough is firm enough.)
Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. Knead in enough of the remaining flour to make a moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic (6 to 8 minutes total). Shape the dough into a ball.
Place in a lightly greased bowl turn the dough in the bowl once to grease the surface. Lightly cover the clingfilm in oil and place over the bowl. Let the dough rise in warm place until double (45 minutes).
Punch dough down and then place it onto a lightly floured surface. Cover with clingfilm and let rest for 10 minutes. Using a spray oil or wipe on oil lightly grease an 8x4x2 inch loaf pan. Shape dough into a loaf and place in the prepared pan. Cover and let rise until double (30 minutes).
Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Brush the top with milk using a pastry brush. Put the loaf tin with the dough in into the oven and bake at 375ºF for 25 to 30 minutes; or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped. Cover with foil the last 10 to 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning.
Turn the bread out of the loaf tin onto a wire cooling rack to cool. Whilst still slightly warm, slice a piece of and spread with butter/margarine.
Close your eyes and imagine within your mind what you desire to come into your life. Eat the slice enjoying every bite. Remember the blessings you have received and the blessings you wish to call in.

“I am so grateful for the abundance I have created and eaten tonight.”
“From here on my life is blessed with growth, understanding and love.”
“Gratitude for what has been and what will be from those above.”
