Today’s New Moon phase takes place 11 days into the final of three Mercury Retrogrades in 2025 (9th Nov – 29th Nov), so there may be additional factors to consider – like information and communication issues and delays. As a New Moon is synonymous with new beginnings and manifestation, and Mercury Retrograde is all about rewinding and reviewing – then it would be wise to take your time when setting new intentions and making decisions during this lunar phase.
Mercury Retrograde has the potential to bring up situations and people from the past, which may have an unexpected knock-on-effect with your intentions and goals. This is not entirely a bad thing – it could be an opportunity to reassess and update old and outdated intentions and wishes – effectively clearing the pathway for what you ‘do’ want, not what you ‘don’t’ want.
