New Moon in Libra – 10th October 2026
By Jules
Today’s New Moon falls in Libra, a Cardinal Air Sign. Libra is ‘Tactful’, Cardinal Signs are ‘Influential’, and Air Signs are ‘Knowledgeable’. Together, these qualities give the New Moon an idealistic, logical, kind, and pleasant energy. Ruled by the planet and Goddess Venus, Libra also brings considered prosperous energy to draw on, as you shape the future you desire.
KEY THEMES:
This New Moon and the 10.10.10 Portal offer a powerful double opportunity to plant seeds for new beginnings. Create from a place of lightness rather than weariness. Libra’s influence calls for balance, so release old energy by the 9th, leaving you open and free to cross the threshold on the 10th. See the 3 Step Ritual below for tips.
NUMEROLGY: 10, 3, 2, 6, 7.
10 This Libran New Moon occurs during the 10.10.10 portal (day 10, 10th month & 2026 = 2+0+2+6 = 10 year). 10 represents the end and the beginning. Furthermore, 1+0+1+0+1+0 = 3 (the magic number).
2 (Moon) The Divine Feminine, Emotions, Illumination, Intuition, Sensitivity, Subconscious, and Reflection.
6 (Venus) Abundance, Beauty, Creativity, Love, and Nurturing.
7 (Libra) The Scales of Justice, Balance, and Equilibrium.
3 STEP RITUAL:
On paper, create 2 columns :-
- In column 1, write down what you want to manifest, why, and the good you will do with it.
- In column 2, write down what you are prepared to let go of and release, to make way for what you want to manifest.
- On the 9th of Oct (before the New Moon on the 10th of Oct & 10.10.10 portal), burn the paper and blow the ashes to the wind, saying thank you and it is done!

NEW MOON
New Moon’s occur approx. every 29.5 days (Lunation = Moon fully orbits the Earth). Because a New Moon is dark, the surrounding stars and constellations are more visible. The New Moon phase is a powerful time for initiation, introspection, and manifestation – so it’s a perfect time to bring your desires, dreams, and ideas to life.
Consider the New Moon manifestation process is like sowing new seeds of possibilities and opportunities which will grow and bear fruit over time. The principles remain the same for all New Moon phases, and each lunar cycle is influenced by zodiac signs, seasons, and other planetary aspects – therefore key themes and energies will differ each lunation.
You can practice your New Moon Rituals over a 3day period (before, during, and after the New Moon phase). Additionally, you can petition the following Moon Deities to assist you with your Rituals (always give thanks, and include an offering or pledge) :-
- ARTEMIS – Greek (Huntress) Goddess.
- HECATE – Greek Goddess (Triple Moon)
- ISIS – Egyptian Goddess.
- LUNA – Roman Goddess.
- SELENE – Greek Goddess.
- SET or THOTH – Egyptian Deities.
Whatever compels you, enjoy the New Moon energies. Blessed be!
