Suit of Wands
Seven of Wands
The Card
The Seven of Wands is about personal development, growth and internal conflicts. It’s a time to dig deep and rely solely on your own strengths. A figure stands alone, armed only with one fiery wand. It's a lonely figure of a single person. A solitary figure that must learn, adapt to its environment, master its skills. Surrounding the figure are six wands, they seem to be attacking on them. The wands aren’t planted to ground but are free to move; this visualises that the wands are the figures of imagination and the battle within. The figure must learn how to defeat the wands. But remember, although they have nothing more than their own wit and learned skills, the fierceness of the wands will help them.
Reversed
It's not a time to relax and enjoy the fruits from past victories, such as the six of wands, but a time to adopt new skills. If you don’t, it could be a long and difficult period for you. One of many themes of the seven of wands is going it alone. And reversed, it suggests that you are not ready for the Challenges ahead. And going solo may not be the best action.
In Work
Seven of wands suggest that it’s time to change work and move. With any change of work or career, one must change to the new job or the new ways of working. It can also show work promotions that have more stress or workload. In business or projects, it shows that progress is slow and there are hurdles to overcome.
In Love
Not let your imagination run wild. If communication with a lover isn't going well, don't force it. People have freewill. Also, be careful not to jump to conclusions due to the lack of communication. The Seven of wands also suggest that a new relationship means new compromises need to be made.
