Dreams surrounding people and relationships – How good is your intuition?
I use to dream a lot when I was a child, to be fair I still do. I would often forget most of the dreams I would have, only to remember them a few hours later upon wakening. Some would really get me thinking, others were just confusing and made no sense whatsoever. However what I did notice was that your dreams can give you directions to an area you are concerned about, more so if it’s on your mind, the night before.
Dreams, I always find, are at their strongest and more direct when you are going through a full moon or even during an eclipse time of transition in your life. They may confuse your line of thinking but may get you thinking about that other person in a different way. Some people ask before they go to sleep for insight, around a situation or person, but it may not come in that night, it may appear another night in another form through your dreams.
If you understand your intuition, your dreams may offer you more from this and it could even unravel into a story where you see much more of a clearer picture for yourself.
Dreaming of animals, more so dogs is an indication of something you are looking for, it could be more friends, more attention, emotional feelings and so on, just depends on what that animal is making you feel, or is doing, which is most important to you.
Dreams related to water are by far the strongest in terms of emotions. I remember once when I was going through quite a turbulent time with an ex partner, that one dream I had was associated with myself and him on a little boat travelling out to sea. What was interesting was my cat was in the boat with us and she fell into the water only for myself to never find her. Whilst all this was going on, the little boat was capsizing and we both could feel we were also going to go overboard too, alongside my little cat!!
What did this mean I was asking in the morning?
Well I felt it meant things were coming to an end and emotionally I couldn’t save this anymore, it was very up and down (like the boat rocking) and I felt I was going through an emotional loss (losing the cat in the water) I didn’t literally lose her, she was in fact sleeping next to me when this dream happened and purring away as usual.
I have also heard people mention that their dreams were about their work colleagues, where they dreamt about dogs, these dogs were either quite aggressive during the dream or friendly. I was always intrigued as to what they represented, but what we noticed is that these dogs were associated with their work colleagues and who they truly were. Fascinating, as the dogs were around their work place during the dream. It started to make sense to them, more so if they were trying to understand someone’s actions or someone they worked with if they were upset.
So, animals are the main key in dreams, water being emotions and if something or someone threatens you in the dream, it may also be giving you a thought more so around your own true intentions and your own emotional state and feelings too. You may be going through something yourself in your life, which could turn things completely upside down, however it may be a good thing too for you to know.
Sleep well xx
