The Full Moon in Virgo – 24th February 2024 – By Indigo’s Oracle
The Full moon in February is the 24th February, and it is called the “Snow moon”. It is named so because it is the month when snow is most likely to fall.
Historically the Native Americans now named as First Nation people called it the “Hunger moon” as food was in short supply. In the past February was still a time of hardship and those that survived celebrated the return of the light as the spring came forth.
Just snow the snow moon is like a large scrying ball reflecting back to ones self that which you need to work on.
This is a poignant time of the year many people choose to move house change jobs and also relationships.
Therefore, this may feel like a trying time or a testing time but what we have got to remember is when we end one relationship, we make space for another.
Those of you that lead a spiritual life will understand the value and the power in trusting your intuition. Sometimes this is difficult and today I want to show you a way you can trust yourself a little bit more.
The “Snow moon” reminds us that life moves on and it’s time to cast away the Blues from the winter and let go of anything that is holding you back in life.
Full Moon Magic
We begin our full moon magic by clearing a space, going into every corner removing the clutter some may call it spring cleaning for this case we’re going to call it “Snow moon cleaning.
Open circle by lighting a candle, asking the full moon and your guides to show you what you need to know on this special evening.
Next you need to get a bowl of water; be careful with this obviously it can make a mass and make sure it’s nowhere near any electronics. Within this water I would like you to drip seven drips of any of these three substances; you can drip ink you, can drip acrylic and you can drip wax.
Now ask your spirit guides to show you what you need to work on, what you need to focus on to go in the direction you desire to reach your goals to get closer to that dream.
Take a plain piece of paper and place it down into the water taking out as quickly as you can especially with the wax. Don’t worry if there’s still some of what you dropped still in the water, that doesn’t matter as we will focus on the piece of paper that comes out.
Carefully take it out of the water and place the paper onto a tea towel to dry.
When the paper is dry look at the pictures or the patterns on it, you may wish to get a permanent pen and draw around them much like you with the joining up of Zodiac signs.
Symbols
You can research the symbol or symbols you see, it may be animals or a symbol you’ve never seen before, or you can delve into your inner knowledge to discover what the message is for you.
examples of symbols that may occur:
- Heart – Romance needs focus
- Dove – Peace needs focus
- Feet- The body needs focus
- Book – Study needs focus
- Mouth – Communication needs focus
- Baby – Family needs focus
If you don’t understand what the symbols mean, sit quietly with your guides and ask them to show you clearly.
At the end of the magical practice thank the moon and your guides, blow out your candle and affirm with “So mote it be”, “Blessed be” or “As it is”.
